Ruby Porter Marketing + Design is a fast-growing marketing firm dedicated to providing clients strategies and creative services that make them the envy of their competitors. Personal attention to support in all areas are core tenets of how we service our clients. We are currently seeking an experienced Web Programmer to work with us on a contract basis.

The Web Programmer will be responsible for the following duties:

Transform our design layouts into fully-functional live websites
Generate quality programming on deadline
Incorporate SEO best practices into website development
Work on a per-project basis as programming needs arise

qualifications.

2-3 years experience working as a programmer or website developer
Highly motivated and goal oriented
Strong analytical and technical skills
Excellent attention to detail
Able to follow guidelines and execute tasks as assigned
Experienced working with core web coding technologies
Analytical with strong problem-solving skills
Possesses excellent code reviewing skills
Working understanding of basic design principles
Able to understand XML and RSS feeds
Comfortable communicating via phone and email
Experienced working with open-source CMS platforms (i.e., Drupal, Joomla, Magento).
Able to meet goals and deadlines without direct supervision
Willing to sign and abide by confidentiality and non-compete agreements

Compensation will be based per-project. This rate will be determined by the size and nature of the work. Each project will have a different number of hours allocated for completion.
