Ruby Porter Marketing + Design is a fast-growing marketing firm dedicated to providing clients strategies and creative services that make them the envy of their competitors. Personal attention to support in all areas are core tenets of how we service our clients. We are currently seeking a Print Production Artist to work with us on a contract basis.

The Print Production Artist will be responsible for the following duties:

Produce artwork that fits specific given guidelines
Setting up art files, editing text and layout
Proofread and prepare digital, print-ready files
Assist with the production of a wide range of projects
Translate client needs into designs that meet goals and requirements
Work on a per-project basis as production needs arise

qualifications.

2-3 years experience producing files for output (print/web)
Successful completion of skills demonstration
Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Acrobat
Self-motivated, able to complete projects on time
Pays close attention to graphic and typography details
Takes direction well, but also comfortable suggesting new ideas where appropriate
Able to execute design concepts provided by others
Positive attitude and dedication to producing great work
Able to meet goals and deadlines without direct supervision
Willing to sign and abide by confidentiality and non-compete agreements

Compensation will be based per-project. The rate will be determined by the size and nature of the work. Each project will have a different number of hours allocated for completion.
